"Desposyni" (δεσπόσυνοι) meaning "of or belonging to the Master or the Lord"
My name is Matthew Dowling and I am a former evolutionary biologist and entomologist turned Christian theologian and preaching minister. My scholarly interests are systematic theology, particularly the doctrine of God, and the intersection of theology and science. My faith journey is taking place in the Churches of Christ of the American restoration movement. I am the preaching minister at the Monmouth Church of Christ in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
